Ise Sadakuni (伊勢貞国)

Sadakuni ISE (1398 - 1454) was a steward of the Bakufu Mandokoro in the Muromachi period. It is said that his father was Sadayuki ISE (it is also said Sadatsune ISE). He was the adopted heir of Sadatsune ISE, and his mother was the daughter of Kiso SHINSHU. Sadachika ISE and Sadafuji ISE were his children. Sadakuni ISE's daughter was the mother of Soun HOJO and Kitagawa-Dono (wife of Yoshitada IMAGAWA).

He served Shogun of the Muromachi bakufu (Japanese feudal government headed by a shogun) for three generations; Yoshinori ASHIKAGA, Yoshikatsu ASHIKAGA, Yoshimasa ASHIKAGA. He served as Mandokoro Shitsuji (chief of Mandokoro, the Administrative Board) from 1410 to 1449. In 1454, he passed away.
